Why "Snowlock"?
Snowlock is a nod to our owner-and-librarian’s favorite epic fantasy world: Osten Ard and its component series Memory, Sorrow & Thorn and The Last King of Osten Ard. The story’s protagonist, Simon, receives the nickname Snowlock after an encounter during the climax of the first novel The Dragonbone Chair. If you’re after deep lore, beautiful writing, and characters who genuinely care for each other there’s no better place to start.

Why do I see some books/series by my favorite author but not others?
Our librarian is hard at work curating our inventory to balance variety with completeness. While we strive to offer a wide selection, not every title from every author is on our shelves yet. If you see one title from an author, there's a good chance the remainder of their speculative fiction catalog will be added over time. New titles are added to our collection every week, so check back often! If there's a specific title you'd like to see, feel free to contact us with your request---we'd love to hear from you.
Do you plan to sell other subgenres of fantasy besides epic fantasy?
Yes! While epic fantasy is our first focus, we plan to expand our offerings to include subgenres of both fantasy and science fiction over time.
